CULTURE COLLECTIVE COMMUNITY STANDARDS

A Room Built on Cultural Intelligence Has Rules That Reflect It.

The Culture Collective is a professional community. The people who belong here have chosen to build their brands, their businesses, their authority, their impact. These standards exist to protect that work and the people doing it. They are not corporate boilerplate. They are the terms of belonging to a community that takes itself seriously.

The Standard

Every member of the Cultural Relevance community, including the Culture Collective, course participants, event attendees, and platform users is expected to engage in ways that are professional, honest, and respectful of the people around them. The communities we serve have been disrespected enough by the institutions that claimed to serve them. We will not replicate that dynamic inside our own walls.

What We Protect

  • 01Psychological Safety. Members have the right to share their work, ask questions, seek feedback, and take creative risks without fear of ridicule, dismissal, or bad-faith criticism. Disagreement is welcome. Contempt is not.
  • 02Intellectual Property. The ideas, frameworks, course content, and creative work that members share in this community belong to them. Reproducing, repurposing, or distributing another member's work without their explicit permission is a serious violation and may result in immediate removal
  • 03Community Trust. What is shared in the Collective stays in the Collective. Members disclose personal and professional information in a spirit of community. Sharing that information outside this community without permission is a breach of the trust that makes this space function.
  • 04Cultural Dignity. Cultural Relevance serves communities that have experienced centuries of cultural appropriation, misrepresentation, and exploitation. We will not allow that dynamic to be reproduced here — whether through insensitive language, extractive behavior, or performative allyship that doesn't reflect genuine understanding.

What We Do Not Tolerate

The following behaviors will result in immediate review and may result in suspension or permanent removal from the community:
  1. Harassment, intimidation, or sustained disrespectful engagement directed at any member
  2. Discriminatory language or conduct based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, national origin, or any other protected characteristic
  3. Sharing, reproducing, or distributing another member’s content, contact information, or personal disclosures without their permission
  4. Spam, solicitation, or promotional conduct that is not consistent with community norms
  5. Misrepresentation of credentials, affiliations, or outcomes in community spaces or on the CR platform
  6. Any conduct that Cultural Relevance determines, in its reasonable judgment, to be harmful to the community or inconsistent with its values

Reporting and Enforcement

If you experience or witness a violation of these standards, report it to success@culturalrelevance.com. All reports are reviewed by a member of the Cultural Relevance team. We respond to every report within three business days and keep the identity of the person reporting confidential.
