Meet Meaghan Taylor

Meaghan Taylor is the founder of Women In Radio, the largest organization for the support and advancement of women in the radio industry.
As an alumna of Florida A&M University, Meaghan began her broadcast career at the college’s radio station, WANM 90.5 FM. As the official voice of the drive-time slot, she developed a loyal fan base.

Upon graduation, Meaghan found it very hard to land a job within the radio industry. She decided to return home and intern at a local radio station. In her internship interview she was offered a job as the owner’s assistant and her commercial radio journey began. It was at that moment she decided to help other women in their radio journey.

Meaghan now lives in Miami, FL where she is the first African-American woman on-air personality for the legendary Y-100, and an instructor at The Connecticut School of Broadcasting where she teaches social media and radio classes.
